Why Should Franchisors Participate In Franchise Exhibitions?

Participation in a franchise exhibition or tradeshow requires a significant investment outlay, with obvious expenditure relating to renting a booth space, travel and lodging expenses, and development of marketing collaterals. And here’s the kicker, there is no guarantee that any new franchisees will be signed up.

So why do so many franchisors still do it? Why are they willing to bear these expenses with only some hope for return on investment?
