There are two ways to think about a ‘kick start’.
The first assumes that a kick start is required because things had been done a certain way for a period of time, with inconsistent results.
In that case, a good strategy to kick start the recruitment process:
I would suggest that you go back to basics and look at the entire recruitment system. A good starting place is the Franchise Mind Development System with its five steps:

- Profile of the Candidate.

- Marketing Process (to generate leads and get the leads completing profiles).
- Recruitment Process.
Before you start the review, take stock of your current results in terms of what is working and not working, as well as looking at metrics, such as cost of lead, cost of franchise granted, percentage of leads converting to franchisees and where in the process ‘drop-offs’ are occurring.
On the other hand, if a kick start is required just to accelerate growth then a different set of criteria needs to be focused on. Are you planning to grow with the same types of franchisees or is there a new strategy that brings into play different types of franchisees?
Based on your growth goals and your current metrics, how many leads will be required? What is the appropriate budget and resources? You must also consider and be prepared for resources required for training, store openings, supply chain and any other requirements specific to your business before embarking on an aggressive growth strategy.
